Who we are

This website, lestercassidy.com, is run by Lester Cassidy Safety and Resilience Ltd, Tiermohan, Donadea, Co. Kildare, Ireland. Lester Cassidy Safety and Resilience Ltd is the data controller for any personal data described in this policy.

You can contact us at lester@lestercassidy.com or on 086 418 4388.

The short version

This website does not collect personal data from visitors. There are no contact forms, no newsletter sign up, no analytics or tracking tools, no advertising and no social media plugins. We do not sell, rent or share your personal data with anyone for marketing or any other purpose.

Visiting this website

You can browse this website without giving us any personal information. We do not use analytics, tracking pixels or advertising tools, and we do not build profiles of visitors.

Like every website, this site runs on a web server. When your browser requests a page, the server automatically records basic technical information in its logs, such as your IP address, browser type and the time of the request. Our hosting provider keeps these logs for a short period for security and to keep the site running. We do not use them to identify visitors and we do not combine them with any other information.

If you contact us

If you email, phone or message Lester, we receive the details you choose to give us, such as your name, contact details and information about your event. We use this only to reply to you and, if you book a talk, to arrange and deliver it and to invoice for it.

Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries you send us and, where you book a talk, taking steps to enter into and carry out an agreement with you.

We keep enquiries only for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry. If you book a talk, we keep the related records for as long as the law requires for tax and accounting purposes, which is normally six years.

Who can see your information

We do not share your personal information with anyone. The only organisation that handles it on our behalf is our website and email hosting provider, which stores this website and our email. It acts only on our instructions and is bound by data protection law. We would only disclose information to anyone else if the law required us to.

Links to other websites

This website links to other websites, such as Facebook. If you follow a link, that website’s own privacy and cookie policies apply. We are not responsible for how other websites handle your information.

Cookies

This website does not set cookies for visitors. See our Cookie Policy for details.

Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • ask us to correct anything that is wrong
  • ask us to delete your personal data
  • object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use your personal data
  • ask us to send your personal data to you or to another organisation

To use any of these rights, email lester@lestercassidy.com. We will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission at www.dataprotection.ie.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top.
